  • Doc. Dr. Ljubica Bakić-Tomić, – «Education for human values through existing education programme »

After lectures, the discussion focused on a present situation in schools in Vukovar considering interethnic relations and segregated education. This led to discussion of models of education for minorities, according to Croatian laws, about alternatives to existing models and ways to find a third option that would allow parents to really choose when enlisting their children in schools. Instead of a joint conclusion, every participant gave an account of her/his own vision of a model of education that would ensure that children are raised for a better future and a more tolerant multicultural community.
