For the past few months, the students have been working hard on researching local events related to the Holocaust. They have been to libraries, searched the internet, cooperated with museums, gone through archives all in pursuit of uncovering the stories of the Jewish people that lived in their Cities during the Holocaust.
They have researched a total of 10 stories, that show the adversity and suffering that those people faced, but also incredible resilience and determination to overcome them. Overall, the stories have made us all think about the society and our role in it and see how it is our individual responsibility to never let such a thing happen again.
All the researched stories have been written down and translated to all the partners languages, and they can be downloaded here:
After the research, the students have started creating artwork in response to the findings, and we will soon organise art exhibition to showcase all of their work.
